Custom leotards that are bespoke items made for a club, own designs or A Star designs that you have customised normally have a lead time of 3-4 weeks unless advised. If you have a deadline please contact us by e-mail or telephone and we will try and help. For out of stock items or changes to our normal delivery times we will contact you with available options. We offer 2 postal services to all UK addresses. First class royal mail, this often arrives next day but cannot be tracked or guaranteed. The above service is not guaranteed to arrive with in the time mentioned, this is the time we advise for delivery after we have made the item. We also offer Special Delivery which is a Royal Mail service that guarantees your item is with you by 1 o’clock the next working day after it has been dispatched. We would recommend this service if you need your item quickly for an event or a gift. If you have a deadline then leave us a message at checkout so that we can work to this for you or keep you informed if there is a problem.
There are 3 different options for European deliveries but not all are available in all countries. When you select a country for delivery at checkout the options for the Country will appear. The options are:
International Standard – delivery Via Royal Mail to normally arrive within 5 working days after dispatch.
International Tracked – delivery via Royal Mail to normally arrive within 3-5 working days after dispatch.
International Tracked and signed for – delivery via Royal Mail to normally arrive within 3-5 working days after dispatch.
Rest of the World Delivery
If you are ordering an item to be shipped to Canada, USA, Norway, Iceland or Denmark your parcel may be subject to an importation tax on arrival into your country. A Star is not responsible for this charge. Please check your local rules before ordering.

Please Note: Parcels being sent to part of the USA and Canada may be sent using a courier for customs reasons. Your contact details will be passed onto our trusted courier so they can update you on the progress of your delivery.

We want your garments to stay in good condition for as long as possible as I am sure that you do. Foil print and metallic garments may fade or dull with wear and repeated washing. Areas that incur friction or abrasion may show some loss of foil. This does not constitute a fault. To ensure your garments stay in “as good as new” condition please see the advice below on how to care for your garment and also the practices to avoid:
It is best to take off your leotard as soon as you can after you have finished your session and to then turn it inside out. This is to allow any moisture to evaporate rather than be trapped within the leotard, Body fluids can discolour the leotard and so care needs to be taken to clean these from the garment as soon as possible.
What not to do….
Now that you’ve been told what not to do, here is what you can do…….
Shimmer, Hologram and mesh fabrics are designed for competition leotard and therefore repeated wearing and washing may cause the fabrics to fade or lose foil. Foiled fabrics could be potentially be damaged due certain routines or excessive rubbing against abrasive equipment. Delicate fabrics can be affected by alcohol in products such as deodorants, perfume and hair products. Uric acid from perspiration and chemicals in deodorants may cause foil damage, we recommend antiperspirant deodorant.
A Star may refuse returns that have not been cared for as advised and will not guarantee any garment that is not washed and dried as directed.
